VIRGINIA TECH AND LEIDOS PARTNER ON CRITICAL HEALTHCARE RESEARCH
Virginia Tech and science and technology solutions company Leidos today announced a partnership to collaborate on student-conducted scientific research into the big data challenges of today’s electronic health records with the aim of optimizing healthcare delivery.
LEIDOS HEALTH EXPERTS TO PRESENT AT COACH E-HEALTH 2014
Leidos Health will be exhibiting (booth #311) and presenting at COACH's eHealth 2014 conference, a multi-faceted program covering leading practices and approaches to the delivery of e-Health. The conference will be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre in British Columbia, Canada, June 1 - 4.
Sean Murphy, Leidos Health vice president and HIPAA security officer will present "EHR Implementation: Open Season for Data Breaches" at the CHIEF (Canada's Health Informatics Executive Forum) breakfast on Tuesday, June 3 from 7-8:30 a.m. Dr. Diane Gutiw of Leidos Health Analytics will present a white paper on "Health Analytics: Lessons Learned from Early Adopters" on Tuesday, June 3 from 2:30-4 p.m.

LEIDOS AWARDED CONTRACT BY U.S. NAVY BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY
Leidos was awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) to provide psychological health support services to the Naval Center for Combat & Operational Stress Control (NCCOSC). The single-award cost-plus fixed- fee (CPFF) contract has a one-year base period of performance, two one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $15 million, if all options are exercised.
LEIDOS AWARDED CONTRACT BY DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS
Leidos was awarded a prime contract to provide systems integration support and services to Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). The single award-firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract has a one-year base period of performance, two one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $12 million, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Tucson, Ariz.
LEIDOS AWARDED CONTRACT BY DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
Leidos announced three contract wins from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to help the agency maximize operational efficiences, reduce healthcare costs, and improve veteran care. The majority of the work for all three programs, collectively totaled at $16 million, will be performed in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Chicago, Ill., and Salt Lake City, Utah.
LEIDOS AWARDED CONTRACT BY NAVAL MEDICAL LOGISTICS COMMAND
Leidos was awarded a prime contract, Behavioral Epidemiology Assessment Research (BEAR), by the Naval Medical Logistics Command to provide research services for multiple behavioral health and epidemiology projects that support the Naval Health Research Center's (NHRC) Behavioral Sciences and Epidemiology Department.

Leidos was awarded a prime contract by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to provide consultative, analytical, decision making, managerial, and implementation support services for a Nurse Advice Line (NAL) that will support the Military Health System (MHS). The single-award firm fixed-price contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $178 million if all options are exercised.
